The Roman theater, the Caffè Nazionale in Piazza Chanoux, the Pretorian gates, Piazza Caveri… these are the locations in the city of Aosta that have become famous for “Rocco Schiavone”, the successful noir TV series now in its fourth season. “The Valley is becoming a little more ‘the land of series’ also thanks to this production”, comments the director of the Film Commission Vallée d’Aoste, Alessandra Miletto.
Last March part of “Sopravvissuti”, an Italian-French-German co-production (Rodeo Drive in collaboration with Rai Fiction, ZDF, Cinètèvè), directed by Carmine Elia, starring Lino Guanciale and Barbara Bobulova, filmed in Rome and Genoa, was set in Gressoney: scenes were filmed in the snow and using indoor sets.”
