MIPCOM 2008 has seen UNEFA for the first time as an official ICE and APT partner in the autumn show.
There was a great impact as far as image and organisation are concerned.
The participating companies, whether under the “umbrella” or those with dedicated booths, worked in an efficient, well structured context, which encouraged professional exchanges and encounters.
There was a total of 164 companies, both buyers and sellers, making use of the Italian space.
This is the first time that UNEFA cooperates directly with ICE and APT, directly supervising preparation and organisation of the spaces.
The double aim of projecting a modern renewed image in a context of work efficiency was undoubtedly achieved, even though UNEFA was able to count only on the efforts of their own members, with no support from the Ministry of Beni e Attivita’ Culturali.
A tangible sign of support came from the Lazio Region, whose contribution enabled the study and preparation of completely new graphics. UNEFA’s next appointment will be The Business Street of Rome.
There the contribution of experience and vast knowledge of the sector could be useful in the future to make Business Street develop into an articulated market.
Let’s not forget that Business Street takes place on a date that “” rumour has it “” would see imminent abandon of IFFLA, and could play successfully at the nostalgia of European and non-European customers for the unforgotten Milan stopover.
