Filming began mid March in Tuscany on the new film by Matteo Garrone, “Pinocchio”, filmed in Val d’Orcia, in particular in the splendid Tenuta La Fratta in Sinalunga, where the village of Geppetto – played by Roberto Benigni – will be reconstructed. The film is an international Italy-France
co-production by Archimede Film with Rai Cinema and Le Pacte, in association with Recorded Picture Company.

A Sunday in the Country will be held from April 5 – 8, a networking event now in its thirteenth edition, organized by the EFA (European Film Academy) in collaboration with the Toscana Film Commission in which 10 young European filmmakers and producers discuss production experiences in their various countries of origin with 2 EFA members that are expert in the world of international audiovisuals in order to exchange ideas and inspiration.

Held for the first time in Italy, A Sunday in the Country, was hosted by the La Casa Rossa farm holiday structure and by Manifatture Digitali Cinema Pisa.
