The Castello del Buonconsiglio is the set of “Menocchio” by Alberto Fasulo, the story of a miller placed under investigation by the Catholic Church after the Council of Trento (produced by Nefertiti Film in co- production with Rai Cinema). Carlo Hintermann is filmino “The Book of Vision” produced by Citrullo International in Ala and on the Lessini Mountains, with Charles Dance, Isolda Dychauk and Filippo Nigro.
The Lessini Mountains (and the city of Trento) also provide the set for “Drive me Home”; the directing debut of Simone Catania, produced by
Indyca (together with InthelFilm and Rai Cinema), whilst the Paganella Plateau, the Val di Non and San Martino di Castrozza are hosting the high-adrenalin lming of “Ride”, the new movie by Guaglione and Resinaro who, after the success of “Mine”, have entrusted the direction to Jacopo Rondinelli. Produced by Lucky Red, Mercurious Domina and Tim Vision, the movie is entirely shot in the Trentino woods using go- pro cameras. Also on the topic of young talents, “Blu Wonder”, the film by the young director from Trentino, Hermes Cavagnini, produced by the Cavagnini Film Company and Frontera Pictures, starring Michael Badalucco, Sandra Williams and Elyse Dufour, is currently in post-production. The locations include the Castello del Buonconsiglio in Trento, San Rocco, Mezzocorona, Missiano and the Parco delle Marocche in Dro.
