In 21st March shooting ended in Tenerife on the German television film “A Holiday with Friends”: a romantic comedy about two couples of friends and their respective children who rediscover the value of love and friendship during a holiday on the Spanish island.

It is produced by Bavaria Fiction, Degeto and ARD channel with the assistance of the local service company Seven Islands Film and the support of the Cabildo de Tenerife (the island’s governing body), through the Tenerife Tourism Corporation and its Film Commission.

The Minister for Tourism, Alberto Bernabé, declared that the filming, which lasted a month, “resulted in € 750,000 being spent on the island in accommodation, as well as the hire and maintenance of equipment, and o ers proof of Tenerife’s great value as a set that can be adapted to any type of production, combined with the presence of a well-tested network of expert production companies and considerable local talent”.
