On Saturday 21 October the nal event of RACCONTI #6 will be held at the MIA [International Audiovisual Market] in Rome.
RACCONTI #6 is the annual Script Lab organized by the IDM South Tyrol Film Fund & Commission dedicated to the development of screenplays for innovative TV series projects.
The writers who took part in this 6th edition have met up in the past few months at the Hotel Kematen in South Tyrol, in the splendid setting of the Renon Plateau, in order to work as a group in the Writers’ Room directed by the German production house FFP New Media, as well as through the “High Concept, Low Budget” Mentoring program for realizing high level original low budget TV series.
The treatments that were developed with the supervision of international experts (Maria Feldman, Harold Valentin and John Yorke) are: “Bloody Mary” by Dario Bonamin, Francesca De Lisi and Federico Gnesini; “Happy Hearts & Smiling Faces” by Joachim Braner; “Wolftrap” by Laura Grimaldi and Pietro Seghetti; and “Zero” by Laura Tamoj.
They will be presented to an audience of Italian and international producers in a pitching session organized by IDM in the Sala Grande of the Hotel Bernini Bristol from 6.00 to 7.00 p.m. This will be followed by the Award Ceremony for the winning project and the handing over of the Panalight Development Award (€ 3,000 for the best of the 4 series written during the Mentoring program), funded by the rental company from South Tyrol Panalight Südtirol.
