The open call for applying to RACCONTI #8, the Script Lab organized every year by South Tyrol’s IDM Film Fund & Commission dedicated to the development of original concepts for the storytelling of international series is online until May 31st 2019.

The scriptwriters and directors accepted (a maximum of three teams will be selected, six filmmakers in all) will attend two residential English language workshops – from September 18th to 22nd and from November 11th to 15th – during which they will work on their own projects in group sessions alternated with individual meetings under the guidance of the new Creative Advisor, the Italian scriptwriter Nicola Lusuardi, an international expert in television series, flanked byAngelica Cantisani, Project Manager of the TorinoFilmLab since 2016.

Brand new for this edition of RACCONTI will be some masterclasses offering a chance to study in more detail topics linked to the esthetic side of writing, like Production Design and Audience Design.
The Script Lab will conclude with a presentation of the projects developed in a pitching section organized by IDM for a sector festival at the beginning of 2020 in the presence of referents from Italian and international production houses with the objective of finding production partners, VOD platforms or broadcasters interested in acquiring the rights to one of the projects.
