The first residential workshop in South Tyrol of RACCONTI#7, the Script Lab organized every year by the IDM Film Fund & Commission to develop screenplays for TV series and the web came to an end on October 6th. Out of the 11 Italian and international authors selected, 7 worked inside the “Digital Think Tank” program focused on serial writing for the VoD market or for social media platforms, and the other 4 in a “Writers’ Room” where they worked on the development of the concept of a television series with the working title “Treeline” set in an isolated and luxurious alpine resort on the edge of a wood.
Both groups were able to count on the constant support of international sector experts.
The RACCONTI Script Lab was also organized thanks to the cooperation with the Tourist office of Scena which made a whole series of logistical services available and collaborated with IDM in order to find the perfect alpine locations for the participants to stay. The second workshop will be held in Scena itself, from November 19th to 24th.
