There will be two Italian movies at the next Venice Film Festival that have been realized with the contribution of the South Tyrol’s IDM Film Fund & Commission.

Competing in Orizzonti/ Horizon will be “Sole”, the first work by Carlo Sironi, produced by Kino produzioni with Rai Cinema in coproduction with the Polish Lava Films and supported by IDM in the pre-production phase.

“Effetto Domino” by Alessandro Rossetto (“Piccola patria”) produced by Jolefilm with Rai Cinema with the production contribution of IDM, will instead be in Sconfini.
The story, written by Rossetto together with Caterina Serra, is set in Italy, in a spa locality that seems to have still managed to resist mass tourism.
