Piera De Tassis is the Artistic Director of the International Rome Film Festival (October 15th – 23th).
The artistic director will be assisted “” according to a statement from the Festival – by a Committee of Experts which will attribute responsibility for the respective sections by delegation, confirming Mario Sesti for “L’Altro Cinema” and Gianluca Giannelli for “Alice in the city”.
The special events, tributes, meetings and possible exhibitions will be organized by the Director General, Francesca Via, in collaboration with the President.
In addition to The Business Street, the Marc’Aurelio Gold Award voted by the public for the best film in competition in the Official Selection is confirmed, as well as the three awards decided by a jury of critics (a Marc’Aurelio Gold award for the best movie and two silvers for the best actress and actor).
The “Alice in the city” awards will become the Marc’Aurelio Bronze Awards, one of which will be voted for by the under-12 age group and a second one by the over 12s
