PUGLIA/At the Producers’ Network in Cannes

Following last year’s success, the Apulia Film Commission (AFC) will once again be animating the final evening of the Producers’ Network on May 21st with an original co-branding initiative called Music on the Rocks.

In the Italian Pavilion the AFC will also hold the presentation of the next edition of the Apulia Film Forum and its funds for supporting productions. In April Bari and Brindisi hosted the set of “Pinocchio”, the new movie by Matteo Garrone produced by Archimede and Le Pact, while the following will descend on Puglia in May: Carlo Verdone with his new movie produced by Filmauro; Checco Zalone, who will be filming his “Tolo Tolo” in the province of Bari (produced by Taodue); Luca Miniero with “Cops”, produced by Dry Media; the De Serio Brothers with “Spaccapietre” set in the province of Foggia and produced by La Sarraz Pictures; and Alessandro D’Alatri who will be bringing the set of the TV series “Il Commissario Ricciardi”, produced by Clemart, to Taranto for several weeks.

Also expected in Puglia in June is the new movie by Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo, “Per il resto tutto bene”, directed by Massimo Venier and produced by Agidi Due.
