The film, already presented at the 35th Torino Film Festival with an excellent response (in the “Italiana.Doc” section), tells three stories of stubborn but contradictory opposition to the “giants” of the industrial area of Brindisi: the petrochemical company, Eni, and the Enel coal power plant located in Cerano.
The portrayal of the progress made is countered by the socio-sanitary damage caused within a region dedicated to agriculture.
Produced by Davide Barletti’s Fluid Produzioni and the theatrical collective Muud Film (Mattia Soranzo, Mattia Epifani and Corrado Punzi), “Vento di soave” received funding from the Regional Film Fund of the Puglia Region and the Apulia Film Commission.
