PIEDMONT/News about the TFI at the MIA

Turin will be the protagonist, in the last six months of 2019, of the series “Giustizia per tutti”, directed by Maurizio Zaccaro and Eros Puglielli, starring Raoul Bova, Rocio Munoz Morales and Anna Favella: 12 x 50’ episodes which look at cases of judicial errors to be screened soon on Canale 5.

Filming will be in progress in Cuneo until the middle of October on “Karim”, an action-thriller spy story set in Syria and Italy, the second work from Piedmont’s Federico Alotto (after the short “I See Monsters”, and the fe- ature movie “Ulysses”), with the screenplay by Federico Alotto and Massimo Galimberti, based on a story-line by Egidio Eronico and Enrico Menduni. “Karim” is a Lime Film production with Rai Cinema produced by Massimiliano Leone and Valentina Di Giuseppe which received an economic contribution from the Cinema DG of the Mibact [Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism] and is supported by the Film Commission Torino Piemonte (FCTP).

At the MIA (International Audiovisual Market), the FCTP will present the second edition of Torino Film Industry (TFI), the collection of initiatives aimed at national and international audiovisual operators and professionals organized and coordinated by the Film Commission itself with the Torino Short Film Market and TorinoFilmLab.

Held in Turin from November 21 to 26, TFI is organized by the FCTP and the Museo Nazionale del Cinema [National Film Museum]
