Mondo TV, a group of 10 companies listed on the stock exchange and controlled by the Corradi family, based in Rome, involved in the production and distribution of animated products, will be presenting its new cartoons at MipTV.
“Monsters & Pirates” (thirteen 11 minute episodes) is an exciting adventure about two different pirate crews hunting for the same treasure .
This is a co-production with MPG, the company with which Mondo TV also produced “Magic Sport 2”, a short series now in its second season.
Another important title on the list is “Kim”, a 26 part series of half hour episodes co-produced with Rai Fiction.
This is based on the famous novel by Rudyard Kipling, presented for the first time as an animated series directed by Giuseppe Laganà who has already directed a number of titles for the group including “Lupo Alberto”, “Spaghetti Family” and “Felix”.
Mondo TV is also co-producing with Rai Fiction “Gladiatori”, a new 26 x 26 minute series selected for the Pulcinella Awards.
This tells the story of two kids during the reign of Emperor Adrian: Marcus, an imperial prince, and Ali, a vagrant orphan.
Along with their “gladiator” friends, they tackle treacherous situations and exciting challenges, finally arriving in Rome, the last stage of a journey that focuses on growth and friendship.
