This year, the EU’s Creative Europe MEDIA organises a series of debates and showcases from Thursday 10 May until Wednesday 16 May, on various topics such as collaboration strategies to increase audiences, financing, co-production, distribution and talent development.
The European Film Forum (EFF) will take place on Monday 14 May from 15:00-17:30 at Salon des Ambassadeurs.
It will focus on the power of networks and collaboration to increase audiences for European works.
The EFF will be preceded by a conference on financing, taking place on Monday 14 May, from 10:00-11:30, at Terasse du Festival. A panel on ‘Co-producing outside Europe: the role of the International co-production funds’ will take place on the Creative Europe MEDIA stand on Saturday 12 May, from 15:00-17:15.
More widely, showcase events presenting projects supported by MEDIA will be organised at the MEDIA stand throughout the Festival. The events are open for all the badge-holders. Participation is on a first come, first served basis.
