The director and native of the Marche region, Giuseppe Piccioni, ‘has gone home’ to film “L’ombra del giorno”, produced by Madeleine Film, in “his” Ascoli Piceno.  The movie is about Italy in 1938, with the racial laws and declarations of war, when the first cracks were appearing in the popular support for Fascism.  The movie stars Riccardo Scamarcio and Benedetta Porcaroli.

Neri Marcorè, the protagonist of “Digitare il codice segreto”, is also from the Marche region.  Filming ended on March 30 on the TV movie which is directed by Fabrizio Costa and produced by Pepito Produzioni with the support of the Marche Film Commission and the active participation of the Municipalities of San Benedetto del Tronto and Monteprandone.
