The application deadline for the first workshop (or the complete 3-workshop package) of Maia is February 19.
Maia is an advanced training and coaching programme opened to emerging producers (20 European participants and a limited number of participants from non-EU countries) made up of three independent five-day residential workshops across a year, which offer a tight combination of lessons, case-studies and practical exercises, specific work on participants’ projects and one-to-one meetings with tutors and trainers.
The first workshop, dedicated to Creative Aspects, will be held in Lecce, Italy in April (from 3 to 7), the second, Legal & Financial Issues, will take place in Serbia in June, and the third, focused on Marketing and Distribution, will be in Macedonia in September.
Participants can attend one, two or all three workshops. Participation in the 3-workshop package requires a project in development, whereas single workshops can be attended with or without a project.
Maia also offers masterclasses tailored to fit specific needs, graduates’ meetings and special occasions at the main industry events throughout Europe.
MAIA Happy Hour will be held in Berlinale, on Sunday February 12 from 6.00 to 7.00 pm at the ITALIAN PAVILION-(1st floor, Martin Gropius Bau) at EFM, in collaboration with the Macedonian Film Agency
