LOMBARDY/Made in Italy on La Croisette

“Made in Italy”, the first TV series about the birth of Italian fashion in the ‘70s, to be broadcast on Canale 5 next fall, will be presented to the international distributors attending the MIP Drama Buyers Club at MIPTV in Cannes.
The series was mainly filmed in Milan at the end of 2018 (at the Triennale, the Rotonda della Besana, Villa Necchi, Castello Sforzesco, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Piazza Duomo, Palazzo Castiglioni, Camparino, the bar Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and the Bar Basso) with the support of the Lombardia Film Commission, subsequently also touching on Rome, New York and Morocco.

Created by Camilla Nesbitt and directed by Luca Lucini and Ago Panini, the series stars the young Greta Ferro, an established model making her acting debut and Margherita Buy.
The cast also includes Valentina Carnelutti, Sergio Albelli, Giuseppe Cederna, Marco Bocci, Fiammetta Cicogna, Maurizio Lastrico and Saul Nanni.

It is a co-production between Taodue Film and The Family for Mediaset. The international sales are handled by the French company Federation.
