At the end of July Santa Margherita Ligure and the gulf of Tigullio hosted the filming of the black comedy “Murder Mystery”, produced by Netflix and starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler as a New York cop and his wife who find themselves the prime suspects in the homicide of an old millionaire while on vacation in Europe. The cast also includes Luke Evans, Gemma Arterton and Terence Stamp.

The director is Kyle Newacheck (co-creator of “Workaholics”).
This is the biggest international theatrical production to come to Liguria in the last 10 years. With over 70 productions realized in the first 6 months, 2018 is well on the way to being one of the best years since the Film Commission has been in operation.
