Two movies filmed in Lazio and supported by Lazio Cinema International, the Roma Lazio Film Commission fund, have just been released in Italian theaters: “Il Primo Re” by Matteo Rovere (read the news) is distributed by 01, while Vision Distribution brought “Compromessi Sposi” by Francesco Miccichè to the big screen, an Italy-UK co-production between Camaleo, Stemo ProductionGreen FilmRhino and Prisma Production.
Starring Diego Abatantuono and Vincenzo Salemme the movie was filmed in Gaeta (Palazzo Comunale – Piazza XIX Maggio, Gulf of Gaeta), Formia and Bogo di Mola (Latina).

Vision Distribution (together with Paco Cinematografica and the Span-sh Neo Art Producciones) also produced “Brave ragazze” by Michela Andreozzi starring Ambra Angiolini, Ilenia Pastorelli, Serena Rossi, Silvia D’Amico, Luca Argentero, Stefania Sandrelli, Max Tortora, Massimiliano Vado and Michela Andreozzi which was filmed between October and November in Gaeta, Fondi, la Chiesa San Francesco (LT) and Rome (via Asmara and the Trieste quarter).

Rome and Nettuno were the locations used for “Sole” by Carlo Sironi, produced by Kino ProduzioniLava Films and Rai Cinema, with the contribution of the MiBAC and the support of Eurimages and the Polish Film Institute. The cast includes Sandra Drzymalska, Claudio Segaluscio, Bruno Buzzi, Barbara Ronchi and Marco Felli.

“ERRE 11- A Tor Bella Monaca non piove mai” was filmed between Octo- ber and November, again with the support of Lazio Cinema International. The directing debut of Marco Bocci, it is an Italian-Spanish co-production between Minerva Pictures and Potenza Producciones, starring Libero De Rienzo, Laura Chiatti, Andrea Sartoretti and Lorenzo Lazzarini.
