“We’ll be young and beautiful” by Letizia Lamartire, which will be representing Italy at the International Critics’ Week (SIC) in Venice, was filmed in Ferrara and Comacchio with the contribution of the Emilia Romagna Regional Audiovisual Fund.
The Emilia Romagna Film Commission also supported “Zen in the ice rift”, one of the three Biennale College finalist films and the first work by Imola’s Margherita Ferri alongside producer Chiara Galloni for Articolture of Bologna: it is the story of an education set amidst the beautiful landscapes of the Bolognese Apennines.
And thanks to the valuable work of L’Immagine Ritrovata, the Bologna Cineteca’s workshop, Emilia Romagna will also be present in Venezia Classici with two important restored works: “Death in Venice” by Luchino Visconti and “Il Posto” by Ermanno Olmi.
The Cineteca has also collaborated on the restoration of “Brick and Mirror” by Ebrahim Golestan, the Iranian theatrical masterpiece which shows the face of a country in which the winds of the Revolution are beginning to blow
