CRISTIANO CORAZZARI/A Land of Stories and an ideal set

“The Film Commission should be the pivot around which Veneto’s theatrical and television production system revolves.
An important tool for promoting the region as a place for realizing productions and maximizing Veneto’s workers”.

Cristiano Corazzari, the councilor responsible for Culture at the regione Veneto, who strongly backed the creation of the Film Commission, admits: “We have some ground to make up, but now we have all the right cards for winning the challenge: a high-level team and an adequate support fund”.

And, naturally, Veneto, which “has the right characteristics for being an ideal set, the entrepreneurial ability of its people, the beauty of its landscapes, as well as the contribution of history, art and culture that it can vaunt”.
now, according to the councilor responsible for culture, all the right conditions are in place for “telling the story of the territory and our communities – a particularly united and creative fabric – beyond old stereotypes”.

Corazzari cites as an example the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene Prosecco hills which have become a UnEsCO World Heritage site. “a wonderful story to be told; lands which once were poor, shaped by the work of our farmers who, through their toil and determination have created a miracle: the top italian wine exported around the world. it is a big small italian story that is a paradigm of the whole of the Veneto region”.
