The Venice Film Market – the business area of the Festival- returns under the direction of Pascal Diot with the fourth edition being held from September 3 – 8 at the Hotel Excelsior.

The main features: from September 4 – 5 there will be the second edition of the European Gap-Financing Market which, this year, will benefit from the important support of the MEDIA Programme; the European Film Forum event – “Cross Culture– a driver for a Creative Europe” organized by the Biennale in collaboration with Creative Europe – is scheduled for September 6; and, from September 7 – 8, the third edition of the Final Cut in Venice workshop will be held (this section supports the post production of movies from Africa, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Jordan).

The Venice Film Market has 2 dedicated screening rooms and offers accredited professionals the use of the industry club, a reserved area for meetings, a digital video library, an industry business center as well as an exhibition area and other events.
