Two new sets opened in Calabria in the month of November. Two debut works, both supported by the Calabria Film Commission.
Alessandro Grande, the Calabrian director, winner of the David di Donatello 2018 for his multi-award winning short, “Bismillah”, returns to his homeland to set his story in the feature movie “Regina”, produced by Bianca Film and Rai Cinema.
Samuele Rossi has also chosen Calabria for his first drama feature, “Glass Boy-Il bambino di vetro”.
The director of “Indro-l’uomo che scriveva sull’acqua” returns behind the movie camera for a film inspired by the children’s novel “Il bambino di vetro”, winner of the Andersen award 2012.
The film is produced by Solaria Film, Peacock Film, WildArt Film, Rai Cinema, with the contribution of the MiBAC [Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities] and with the support of Eurimages.
