I am a veteran of BS.  For Argentinean distributors it is one of the 4 unmissable markets along with Cannes, Berlin and Guadalajara, and was immediately very interesting, particularly because it managed to strengthen relations between our film industry and the Italian one, which have a lot in common.  Moreover, this was where the co-production agreement signed with Cinecittà  Luce originated that led to the Italian-Argentinean co-production , “El artista”, presented in competition at the 2008 edition of the Rome Film Festival.
