The 21 projects selected for the Berlinale Coproduction Market also include “The Long Run”, written and directed by Andrea Magnani which he produced with his Pilgrim, together with Bartleby, which received a contribution to the development from Rai Cinema, the new IMAIE fund and the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual Fund.

And an Italian scriptwriter, Simona Nobile, is one of the names on “Babyland” the Bulgarian project selected in the Co-Pro Series.
Nine out of the 255 participants in Berlinale Talents, are Italian: director Nazareno Nicoletti, Alessandro Amato, producer, director and DOP Beniamino Barrese, scriptwriter and distributor, Zelia Zbogar, director and producer Lyric De La Cruz.
Plus, also of Italian origin albeit resident abroad, the DOP Camilla Topuntoli, stop motion animator Thomas Kunstler, Maria A. Ruggieri, sales agent and creative producer, and production designer Isabella Bruno.
