In competition in the Generation plus section of the 2017 Berlinale is the kids’ film by Tobias Wiemann, ‘Amelie rennt’, about a magical encounter between a city girl and a boy from the mountains.
Produced by Bolzano’s helios sustainable films in co-production with the German Lieblingsfilm, it was filmed last summer (entirely in the month of June) in Alto Adige, Alpe di Siusi and the Valle Aurina and received support during the production from the IDM Film Commission.
