ALFREDO CALVINO (Latino Fusion – Mexico)

I came here for the first time to see what this market is like and was pleasantly surprised.  This “Terrace” concept works well, with unstructured meetings that help to make contacts.  I am fed up with traditional markets where you have to buy a stand and spend a lot of money, often with poor results.  Here the investment is modest and I have already sold to France, Argentina and Japan, so for me it was an excellent result!

Obviously Cannes continues to be a key market but I think BS could become a valid alternative as an end of year market, taking over what used to be Mifed’s role, but different, because it wouldn’t be possible to have an event like Mifed today.
